This Halloween Monstawrap took part in a ghoulish party to top all spook spectacular parties. The event was held in Cardiff and was organised to rise money for the SAFE foundation. The charity was founded in 2007 to assist in the provision of grants of money and materials that could contribute to poverty relief in developing countries. As founder, Lucy Dickenson felt it was important to establish a new organisation, rather than assisting others, as her own experiences living and working in Uganda, Rwanda, Mongolia and elsewhere showed that remote or small projects were often unable to access mainstream aid or that the aid they were often offered was conditional. The SAFE Foundation was established in response to the needs of these particular projects and have since expanded to accept proposals from other developing projects experiencing the same problems. Monstawrap was there giving out packs as raffles prizes and to the best dressed creepy ghoul of the evening. It was fantastic fun and raised lots of money for an excellent cause.
Some of the costumes were too scary to feature in this blog… all clowns were out for me :S
Happy Halloween!
